QUONTIC BANK TAKES PART IN AMERICA SAVES WEEK
ASTORIA, N.Y.- Quontic Bank is participating in America Saves Week, a national campaign for Americans to save more money, scheduled for February 22 - 27.
Towards that end, the New York-based financial institution is spreading the saving message and encouraging people to make savings automatic by offering a high interest savings account and hosting a free financial literacy workshop, as well.
"Good savings behavior helps to strengthen and empower our community. Quontic Bank is proud to promote the power of savings through America Saves Week, especially to underserved people in our community," said Steven Schnall, CEO and chairman of Quontic Bank. "Since our founding, we've made it our mission to promote financial literacy and provide philanthropic support to low-to-moderate income individuals and to small businesses."
In a special promotion for America Saves Week, Quontic Bank is offering a high interest personal savings account that pays a juicy 1 percent annual percentage yield when you open and maintain a new Quontic Bank personal checking account. Both personal checking and personal savings accounts require a minimum opening account deposit of $100 each-but there is no minimum balance! Direct deposit is required. Additional terms and conditions are applicable to this promotion. Ask for details.
Quontic Bank will also host "How to Make Your Money Work For You," a free financial literacy workshop, at its Astoria branch (31-05 Broadway, Astoria, NY 11106) on Friday, Feb. 26 from 3-6 p.m. The public is invited to stop in for the ongoing micro-presentation.
Headquartered in New York City, Quontic Bank is a financially strong, federally chartered community bank that's intensely customer focused and relationship driven. Through a growing network of branches and loan production offices, we provide a full suite of competitively priced deposit products, residential and commercial mortgages and small business loans, as well as leading-edge tools that give you convenient access to your money!
