Why did you choose Quontic as your employer?
It was very selective. I’ve been in this industry for 25 years. I’ve had the opportunity to observe companies that don’t see their people as their biggest strategic advantage—as in, they don’t see their people as everything to them—I don’t want to work there. Quontic is the exact opposite. Quontic knows they can only go as far as those people will take them. I recognized it with my past company, and I recognize the same thing with Quontic.
If you could have entrance music play when you come into the office, what would it be?
“Get Down Tonight” by KC and the Sunshine Band—that’s my walk-on music. It’s always been one of my favorite songs and it was also my first dance at my wedding with my wife, Julie.

Why does breaking the system for financial empowerment matter to you, personally?
I am not a status quo person, in any way shape, or form. I’m a builder, and what I see at Quontic is them trying to break the system that has been the status quo in the banking industry for decades. If they’re breaking the system, they have to build a new one.
